· College Board Accreditation 694579
· Admission is 50% based on a student’s Chinese Zhongkao score, and 50% on a staff-administered entrance exam with equal parts English, math, and science. About 80% of students are admitted into the school, and all are placed on an academic track.
· English is the medium for instruction for all AP and Honors Courses.
· On average, G10 students take 2 AP courses, G11 students take 3 AP courses, and G12 students take 4 AP courses.
· To graduate from HZHSID, students must achieve a passing grade of ‘D’ in at least 10 courses for the Chinese Zhejiang Xuekao Curriculum.
· The HZHSID Transcript is a bilingual document signed by the Academic Principal and stamped by the school.

· The school year is divided into two semesters. Evaluations are given each quarter.
· Students are not ranked.
· Students are also given a behavioral report, based on “in-class" and “out-of-class" behavior.
· Because of the increased rigor of AP courses and Honors courses, students are given additional GPA.
